Rigami test terms

Thank you for testing Rigami. These terms are the rules of the test. They are short, and written in plain words on purpose. Please read them before you start.

1. Who we are

Rigami is run by Baris Atas, a private individual in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Rigami is not a company yet. In these terms, "we" and "us" mean Baris Atas, and "you" means you, the tester.

2. What the test is

• Rigami is a 3D studio that runs in your web browser. In this test you can bring in your own 3D models, fix and paint them, rig them, pose and animate them, keep them in collections, and export them as GLB files.
• The test is free. You pay nothing and we sell nothing.
• The test is invite-only. It starts in November 2026 and runs for about six weeks. We may make it shorter or longer.
• Making models from words or pictures (with AI) is not part of this test.

3. Who may take part

You may take part if:

• we invited you by email, and you sign in with that email address;
• you are 18 or older;
• you are not on a sanctions list, and you do not use Rigami from a country or region where that is forbidden by sanctions;
• you use Rigami only for lawful purposes.

Your access is personal. Please do not share it, and do not help anyone get past the sign-in.

4. This is a preview: things may break

• Rigami is unfinished. Some parts may not work, may change, or may be removed.
• We may pause or end the test, or your access, at any time.
• We give no guarantee that Rigami works, is always available, or is right for your purpose.
• Your work may be lost. Please read the next section.

5. Your work stays in your browser

• Everything you make is kept only in your browser on your device. It is not sent to us. We cannot see it, and we cannot restore it.
• Your work is deleted if you clear your browser's data for Rigami, use a private window, or switch to another browser or computer. A browser may also delete stored data when the device runs out of space.
• Use Download a copy often to keep a copy on your computer. You can open it again with Open a copy.

6. What you make is yours

• You keep all your rights in what you bring in and what you make. We claim no rights in your work.
• You may use what you make as you like, also commercially, for example in a game you sell. Read section 7 first.
• We do not use your work to train AI. In this test your work never reaches us, so we could not.

7. What you bring in

• Only bring in models, textures, animations and other files that you made or have the right to use.
• If you bring in someone else's work (for example a model you bought or downloaded), its licence still applies, also after you change it in Rigami. Some files carry their own licence (for example a VRM file); follow it.
• Owning your changes does not give you rights in someone else's character, brand, logo or a real person's likeness.
• You are responsible for what you bring in and what you do with what you export.

8. What comes with the studio

• Ready-made moves (the Universal Animation Library 1 and 2 by Quaternius) and the material scans (from Poly Haven and ambientCG) are free public-domain content (CC0 1.0). You may use them in anything, also commercially. Other people may use them too.
• Our own sample content (for example the sample mannequin and the skin pattern): you may use it in your own projects, also commercially. Please do not sell or share it on its own, as a pack.

9. Fair use of the test

Please do not:

• bring in or make anything unlawful, including content that sexualises minors, content that breaks others' rights, or content made to harass or deceive someone;
• try to break, overload, scan or attack Rigami, its sign-in or its hosting, or get around any limit;
• copy, scrape, resell or rebuild the studio itself (its code, look and design), or reverse-engineer it, except where the law allows you to;
• use Rigami to build a competing product, or let others use your access.

10. Feedback

• Feedback is the point of this test. Send it with the Send feedback button or by email.
• If you send ideas or suggestions, you allow us to use them freely, worldwide and for good, to improve Rigami, without paying you and without having to use them.
• Please do not send anything confidential, and no passwords or private details.
• If you add a picture of the 3D view, we use it only to understand and fix the problem.

11. Please keep the test private

Rigami is not public yet. During the test, please ask us before you publish screenshots, videos or reviews of the studio. You may of course talk about it with friends and colleagues.

12. Ending the test

• You can stop at any time. To delete your work, clear your browser's data for app.rigami3d.com.
• When the test ends, or if you break these terms, we remove your access. What is stored in your browser stays there until you delete it, but the studio may no longer open it. Download your project before the end date.

13. Our responsibility

• The test is free and given "as is".
• As far as the law allows, we are not responsible for lost or damaged work, lost profits, or any indirect loss.
• As far as the law allows, our total responsibility to you for anything about the test is limited to USD 50.
• Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, for harm we cause on purpose or by gross negligence, or for anything else that the law of your country does not allow us to limit.
• If you are a consumer, you keep all the rights the law of your country gives you. These terms do not take them away.

14. Which law applies

• These terms are governed by the laws of the Emirate of Dubai and the federal laws of the United Arab Emirates.
• The courts of Dubai decide disputes.
• But if you are a consumer, you keep the protection of the mandatory laws of the country where you live, and you may also bring a claim in the courts there.
• Before going to court, please email us. We will try to solve it with you within 30 days.

15. Changes

We may update these terms during the test. If a change matters, we will email you before it applies. The date at the top shows the version.
